Hand Drill
Here's my attempt at making a hand in 3D.I made it teal to see shadows and highlights a little bit better.
I modelled it after my own hand, as my thumb bones are really defined. The pinky reflects how mine is right now (for those of you who didn't know, I broke my pinky knuckle) because I wanted it to look a little less static. ;)
Other than practice this week, I've never modelled a hand, so I'm pretty proud of it.
Total time: 2 hours, 45 min

I am sooooooo glad I am an animator! The hand is nice. The phalanges are nicely rounded and defined, they could taper a bit more toward the end, and the tips of your finger are not that bulbous! The adductor pollicis muscle could use a little more meat on it, especially on the bottom of the hand. The biggest thing I can find is that where the phalanges meet the metacarpal there is an odd webbing effect, much like the fetal hand. Other than that, nice work! Can't wait to see what you do next.
I forgot, 75%.
Very realistic. I didn't realize you had this much talent. With a nice painted texure it would look very realistic.

Hello D.
This is not a bad attempt, but I know you can do better. I do not agree with the very nice comments on this piece, although it might pass it would do you better to get more practice; it seems you need it in the area of proportion etc.
I would also like to see a post every hour to keep it fair and to validate you time you spent on the piece. I would also have liked to see a wire frame and a rotation, but alas not either so I can only comment on what I see.
Cheers.
